Lazy Susans specializes in regular house and apartment cleans including Airbnb turnaround cleaning, deep clean and move in/move out (end of lease) cleans.

When you book with Lazy Susans, we estimate and recommend the number of hours for your booking based on the size of your home. There is a minimum booking time of 2 hours, and we also suggest that you do book the recommended number of hours, as this would allow our Lazy Susans professional to be able to complete all of the tasks listed below. However, you do have the option of booking less than the recommended time – if so, please leave some notes after your booking has been confirmed so we can ensure that your Lazy Susans professional gets all of your priority areas cleaned!

Our Lazy Susans clean includes the following:

EVERY ROOM:

  • Dust and wipe reachable surfaces
  • Straighten up and organize
  • Vacuum and mop floors
  • Empty rubbish bins

BEDROOM:

  • Make the bed and change linen
  • Fold and organize clothing
  • Wipe down furniture, mirrors and fixtures

BATHROOM:

  • Scrub and disinfect the toilet, shower and sink
  • Clean mirrors and glass surfaces
  • Fold and hang towels neatly
  • Wipe and dust exterior cabinets and shelves
  • Wipe down glass fixtures, cupboards, countertops and drawers

KITCHEN:

  • Load dishwasher
  • Wipe down exteriors of appliances (e.g. oven and fridge)
  • Clean inside of microwave
  • Scrub and disinfect the sink

We also offer the following additional services, which are available on request (these may add extra time to your booking):

  • Interior window cleaning
  • Fridge cleaning

EXCLUSIONS:

Due to insurance liability, safety constraints and other considerations, we unfortunately DO NOT offer the following services:

  • Deep stain, pet messes and heavy soiling removal
  • Lifting of heavy items (over 10kg)
  • Cleaning of surfaces out of normal reach
  • Mould/biohazard removal
  • Pest removal and insect extermination
  • Steam/carpet cleaning
  • Landscaping
  • Blinds & window covering

We do have teams of two cleaners on our platform. If that is the case, the time of your booking will finish in half the time. Rest assured, you still receive the same amount of value you booked for!

In the rare event that you are not 100% satisfied with the job, please contact us so we can make it right for you. We will offer to send another Lazy Susans professional to ensure that you are satisfied with the standard of our service.

 

Enquiries regarding the satisfaction guarantee must be made within 48 hours of completion of the booking.

You can cancel or reschedule your booking free of charge, provided you give at least 48 hours’ notice.

 

However, if you do cancel or reschedule your booking within 48 hours of its starting time, you will incur a $40 fee. This is because our cleaners have already locked in that day and lose valuable working hours if you cancel with short notice.

We recommend a certain amount of hours based on how many bedrooms and bathrooms you have in your home. From there, our bookings are quoted based on the number of hours you book for, with a minimum booking time of 2 hours. Feel free to increase or decrease the number of hours if you feel it is appropriate, and our cleaner will clean accordingly.

If you’d like, we also do offer additional services that you can select during the checkout process – these additional services add one extra hour to your booking.

Your full cost is based on the number of hours you select.

Yes! We offer additional services such as fridge cleaning, cabinet cleaning, laundry wash & dry, window cleaning, home styling and handyman services. You can select these additional services for you’re booking during the checkout process, and each additional service will add one extra hour to booking time.

All of our Lazy Susans professionals are equipped with their own cleaning supplies and equipment, and you can opt to use them at your booking for a $5 fee. If you’d like, you can also provide your own supplies instead.

We recommend all of our professionals to arrive at least 10 minutes before the scheduled booking time to ensure that they will be ready to start right on time.

If you cannot be home for your booking, that’s perfectly fine. You can leave your key with reception or the name of your cleaner – whatever suits you!

 

Once you’ve made up your mind, you can leave instructions for the cleaner in the additional notes section of the checkout process. If anything changes, you can edit your instructions via your client dashboard.

 

Please note that if you leave your keys with the cleaner, Lazy Susans will not be responsible for any issues

After your clean has been completed, you will be able to leave a rating and some feedback for your cleaner as soon as you log into your dashboard. We would really appreciate it if you could take out 5 seconds to provide some feedback – it goes directly into improving our services for you!

We try our very best to find a cleaner for your preferred date and time.

 

However, if you book on short notice, we may not be able to find you a Lazy Susans cleaning professional for your requested date and time. If this is the case and there is no cleaner available, you will have to choose a different date and time.

Yes you can make a booking for today as long as you have booked this in the morning.

Our system calculates a recommended number of hours to book for based on the number of bedrooms and bathrooms that you have, as well as any additional services that you’d like to select.

 

However, you do always have the option to increase or decrease the number of hours that you’d like to book for, depending on what you think is appropriate. Please note that if you do book less hours than recommended, we suggest that you list the parts of your home that you want to be focused on as we may not be able to do a complete and thorough job of your entire home.
